The 'ALFIS' Electronic Isolator Switch

The ALF extinguisher will quickly kill a fire within its vicinity, however under certain circumstances a fire caused by an electrical fault could re-ignite, which is where the ALFIS plays a vital role.

The ALFIS (ALF - Electronic Isolator Switch), is a smart switch connected to the ALF extinguisher and which controls the power supply to the equipment protected. If the extinguisher is activated (e.g. by a fire)  the ALFIS instantly cuts the electrical power to the equipment thus protecting against any possibility of re-ignition caused by an electrical overload or short circuit, etc.
