Screw Trap

The Screw Trap is used to prevent the unauthorised access to or theft of internal components of your PC (processor or memory chips, etc). It is suitable for use on computers where screws are used to hold the casing closed.

To use - simply release one of the case retaining screws offer up the screw trap and re-insert the screw through the hole in the base of the trap. When the security cable is passed through the holes in the sidewall of the trap (as shown), access to the screw head is blocked, so the computer case cannot be opened until the security cable is released.

Where required and as an option, replacement high tensile steel screws can be supplied for use with the screw trap.

The Screw Trap is also available as a stand alone 'Simm Saver' pack where the security cable is not required. For this application the padlock locks through the cable slot in the Screw Trap to prevent access to the concealed case retaining screw.
