Using the Security Slot / Hasp Lock
- to secure your monitor
Robustly manufactured from interleaved stainless steel plates, the Slot
Lock fits into the security slot on the monitor (normally located on the
rear or side of the unit - and typically identified by a small: padlock or
chain-link symbol)
Once installed, the Slot Lock device is locked in position, by simply
passing the security cable through it.
The arrowhead end of the security cable (shown top right) will pass
through the unit, the oversize ball fitting at the trailing end of the
cable will not, so preventing the cable from pulling right through. To remove the Slot Lock, the
security cable must be unlocked from it's locking point at the leading end
and released.

Using the Security Slot / Hasp Lock
- to secure your PC processor or MAC
Use the "Security Slot / Hasp Lock" - to secure your PC or
MAC
Most modern PCs and MAC computers incorporate a security slot and /or a
security hasp into their casings.
In the pictures (shown right) both the security slot and hasp are
designed so that when the computer is secured via either, not only is the
computer anchored to the security cable, but it is also impossible to open
the computer casing, preventing tampering with or theft of internal
components.
Once installed, the Slot Lock device is locked in position, by simply
passing the security cable through it.
The arrowhead end of the security cable (shown top right) will pass
through the unit, the oversize ball fitting at the trailing end of the
cable will not, so preventing the cable from pulling right through. To remove the Slot Lock, the
security cable must be unlocked from it's locking point at the leading end and released.
