The Insight range of professional DVR Digital Video Recorders offer reliability, quality CCTV recordings, and sensible prices. The 4 channel units allow concurrent connection of up to 4 cameras, the 16 channel units support up to 16 connected cameras and so on. The versatile, modular Cathexis DVR starts at 4 channels, but can be expanded in modules of 4 to support up to 32 directly connected cameras from a single box, allowing the DVR to grow with you as your requirements grow.

All of these reliable, easy to use units, record in colour or mono (depending on input)  - simply connect a colour camera if you need colour images or a mono camera if you don't.

Each model will store a minimum of the last 7 days recordings from all connected cameras (the overall recording duration time can be easily extended) and are capable of fully automatic operation requiring no operator intervention. In fact the only time you will need to go near the recorder is to view or download images should an incident occur. All of our DVRs even reboot and self recover automatically after a power cut.

Although our DVRs are very competitively priced, there are cheaper units available. Our units are however, carefully selected for proven performance, reliability and value for money, so please don't confuse these professional systems with cheaper, inferior units ...there really is no comparison and CCTV is a classic example of 'you get what you pay for'.

All of the Insight range of recorders are designed to connect to a 240V mains supply (although some units operate at 12V DC via the supplied PSU).
