The 'Slide-Safe' Sliding Door Guard

The perfect safety solution for sliding patio doors. s soon as the door slides open, the spring loaded Slide-Safe unit flips back against the frame, preventing the door sliding fully shut again until the Slide-Safe is reset.

For maximum convenience and to cater for the odd situation where you may have a lot of items to carry in or out, etc., the red locking pin can be used to temporarily lock the mechanism in the open position. 

In operation, the rubber roller wheel runs along the door but as the door opens it allows the wheel to spring back against the frame against which the door closes ... thus preventing the door sliding fully shut until the Slide-Safe is reset.
