The Camera / Recorder

Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, this ultra compact unit incorporates;

• "Back to Back" (front and rear facing) cameras
• Image Recorder (records images to SD Card)
• GPS satellite positioning system
• Integral speaker / microphone
• Infra Red lighting for night time video recording

Installation is quick and dead easy, 

...the unit simply clips into the windscreen mounted bracket, 

....so its also easy to unclip it if you need to (you may want to remove it if you leave the vehicle unattended overnight for example).

Then simply plug the power cable into the power jack on the recorder, and the cigarette lighter socket

 ...job done!

Video recordings are easily played back on your PC, where images from both the forward and inward facing cameras are displayed concurrently 

As well as the camera images, other useful information displayed includes;

• vehicle speed
• direction of travel 
• "G" shock sensor graph

Playback controls include; 

• file selection
• normal video controls
• audio volume control
• replay speed control 
• link to Google Maps

The Image Gallery:

note: the inward facing camera can be temporarily disabled if required,
in which case only the forward facing camera would record.

Clicking on the "Map" button during playback opens a new window displaying Google Maps.

Follow the moving pointer, to track your journey on the map as you watch your video, playback

...and as with all Google Map applications, you can view it as a simple; map, satellite view, or hybrid view.

The familiar standard video controls make video playback a doddle

...and the "Time and Date" Stamp on each image shows you exactly when the recording was made

GPS positioning is captured during image recording, allowing 

• Speed (MPH) and 
• Direction of Travel (compass bearing)

to be displayed during playback.

The clever tri axis "G" Shock Sensor records movement data, so sudden braking, acceleration or swerving, etc. are instantly highlighted on the G Shock Graph during playback

Recordings are segmented for storage, so it's easy to select recordings for any specific date or time, where you have set the unit for continuous recording, 

..and of course, there's always the "Event List" if you've set recording to be activated by an event.

At night, external images are captured by the Hi-Resolution forward facing camera, 

...while for maximum in cab recording performance, infra red (invisible light) illuminators surrounding the inward facing camera lens, provide extra illumination within the cab area 

...including the rear passenger area
