Save money with our 20 litre multi-buy pack of our popular black anti climb paint. Manufactured specially for Insight Security our anti-climb paint is widely used to protect properties from unwanted intruders.
Since this security paint does not dry it will potentially stick to and contaminate skin or clothing. Anti-Climb Paint should therefore not be used where people or animals may accidentally come into contact with it (suggested minimum application height is head high - but a higher minimum height requirement may apply).

When applying Anti-Climb Paint to smooth metal or porous stonework, it is important to prepare the surface of the area to be painted before applying the first coat.
If applying to smooth metal surfaces such as posts or metal downpipes, the surface area must be cleaned first with a degreaser and lightly sanded to allow the paint to adhere to the surface.
If your application is on porous stonework it is advisable to use a stone sealant beforehand to prevent the paint being absorbed, you can find a suitable sealer for your application from your local DIY shop.
Coverage guide;
To prevent any type of anti climb paint from drying out and losing its effectiveness, it is recommended that it should be applied as a 2-3mm thick coating.
When applied at the recommended thickness it will require circa 2.0 litres per square metre coverage.
Where can Anti-climb Paint be used;
Anti-climb paint is a petroleum gel based paint that can typically be used in any location where innocent passers by cannot accidentally come into contact with it.
As a practical guide, it should not normally be applied at less than head height, and the display of warning signs may be a requirement
Display of Warning Signs;
Please note: the display of Warning Signs may be a legal requirement where this product is used at or bordering onto any public area or thoroughfare - and warning signs should be clearly displayed where anti climb paint is used at non domestic premises / locations.
Where Warning signs are required, they should be clearly visible from any angle of approach to the installation area.
