Prikla Anti Cat Strip provides a simple, humane and effective way to stop your neighbours cats from fouling or digging up your garden and a practical way to deter burglars and other unwelcome intruders from climbing over your boundary walls, gates and fences into your property. At these super low prices, you can easily afford to fit these cat fence spikes to all your boundary walls, fences, gates, flat roofs and other vulnerable points!
As you probably know, cats love to roam, into gardens, on to walls and along fences. They tend to come into gardens away from their own, wander round and then mark their territory with a bodily function.
This can be unpleasant if you have children who play in these areas and also even harmful to people coming into contact with the mess. However keeping them out is difficult and the last thing you would want to do is cause pain or injury to an animal, so that`s why anti cat fence spikes are the ideal way to keep your garden free of cats and the problems they leave behind.
Anti cat fence spikes are a harmless way of keeping our feline friends out, each set of spikes is made from strong polypropylene and can be easily fixed to most fences (or wall tops) with nails, screws or a suitable adhesive.
If using an adhesive to fix your anti-cat spikes in place, choose one that is suitable for use with polypropylene (the material the anti-cat strips are manufactured from) and the surface to which you are going to bond the spikes. "Pink Grip" outdoor adhesive is widely used in the building trade for bonding many different types of material together and is a popular choice.
Whatever type of fixing you use, the anti-cat fence spikes will work in the same way. When the cat jumps on to the fence they find the spikes are uncomfortable to put their weight on, which causes them to go back the way that they came. They may try to gain access a few times before they eventually realise and give up.
These spikes will also help to keep your own cat in the garden should you wish to and you`ll have peace of mind that you won`t have other cats in the garden coming to pester it.
The spikes come in a variety of different colours that are aesthetically pleasing and designed to blend naturally into your garden.
Although these spikes will not cause injury, as with most perimeter security products, where ever anti-climb spikes are used, relevant warning signs should be displayed to prevent children or others, accidentally climbing onto or coming into contact with the spikes.
These weatherproof, polypropylene cat deterrent anti climb, fence and wall spikes are available in two sizes; Standard and SuperSize - Anti Cat Strip.
Please note: where Anti-Cat Strip anti climb spikes are used at commercial premises, the display of warning signs is strongly recommended and may be a legal requirement.
Ideal for use on fence tops, wall tops, gates, flat roofs, window ledges, drainpipes, etc.
Each anti climb strip features countersunk fixing holes to allow the strips to be easily screwed or nailed down.
As an alternative, strips can be stuck in position using a suitable, all weather instant adhesive (Pink Grip Outdoor adhesive is a low cost multi-purpose adhesive widely used in the building industry and which is readily available from any good DIY outlet).
