Anti-Climb Downpipe Cover - galvanised finish

Normally available from stock and ready for next day delivery, our Insight Security Anti-Climb Downpipe Covers are galvanised pipe protectors which not only protect vulnerable pipework from vandalism and accidental damage, but are also designed to stop anyone from using the protected pipe as a climbing route that will give them access to a flat roof or an upper storey window.

These practical and inexpensive pipe covers, are popular in high security environments such as prisons, police stations and mental health units, as well as being widely used at retail premises and by commercial organisations such as banks and shops. Local authorities, housing associations, schools and hospitals also like to protect their vulnerable pipework using these effective pipe covers. 

Homeowners are also using these covers to protect their properties and enhance the external appearances of their houses.

These super-strong pipe covers are manufactured from folded and formed galvanised steel sheet, which is significantly stonger than alluminium. They protect your downpipes against knocks and accidental damage as well as providing a highly robust, weatherproof cover that makes climbing your pipework virtually impossible.

Insight Securty stock pipe covers are available with a silver coloured galvanised finish, or overpainted with an attractive, easy clean and very durable, baked on black or white powder coat paint finish (other colours available to special order).

Our stock range of pipe covers are designed to fit neatly over most modern downpipes.

Thickness on sheet metal 1.2mm.

Dimensions: Height: 2 metres x Depth: 15cm x Width: 15cm excluding (the fixing flanges) -

(Approx. Imperial equivalent dimensions: H: 6` 6" x D: 6" x W: 6")

Note - These covers are designed to fit comfortably over most modern downpipes and drainpipes, however may not be suitable for use with oversize downpipes such as older cast iron types with their bulky fixing brackets, etc.

How to Install Down-Pipe Covers

These pipe covers are quick and easy to install. Each cover features a full length flange to either side. Each flange is pre-punched with 6x 8mm fixing holes enabling the covers to be snuggly bolted directly to the wall either side of the down-pipe.

For your convenience, we offer optional fixing packs and masonry drill bit packs which must be ordered separately;
