Designed to cause maximum discomfort with minimum harm, our new and improved Prikla Strip features a clever hinged design which allows it to form easily to flat or contoured surfaces.

Each strip is 500 x 45mm with 15mm high spikes and strips are available from stock in a choice of 4 practical colours (brown, stone grey, green or black).

The pre-formed fixing holes accommodate easy screw fixing into place (the preferred fixing option), however where screw fixing or nailing is not possible, strips can as an alternative be installed using a suitable adhesive.

These anti climb strips are manufactured from polypropylene (a robust, weatherproof, plastic material), so if using an adhesive to fix your strips in place, choose one suitable for use with both polypropylene and the material of the surface to which the strips are to be stuck.

Safety - for obvious safety reasons, the installation of Prikla Strip at a height of less than head height is not recommended

Warning Signs - to satisfy the requirements of the Occupiers Liability Act, appropriate, high visability warning signs should be displayed wherever Prikla Strip is installed (note: warning signs are not normally required for domestic installations except for areas where Prikla is installed on a boundary wall , fence, etc., bordering onto a public thoroughfare, or common land, etc.).

The essence of the legislation requires the presence of any potentially hazardous materials or obstacles to be clearly identified to persons (lawfully or unlawfully in the area) who may come into contact with them, which is why we believe that our 150 x 100mm high visability, black and yellow warning sign is of the minimum size and promenance required to meet your statutory obligations

Note: for domestic locations, most customers choose our discrete mini warning sign (product code; PS WSAINT), which measures just; 85 x 55mm and features black text on a white plastic background.

Once again this Spring we have a duck nesting in a tub full of reeds at the edge of our small pond; vulnerable to foxes jumping over and destroying the nest. We needed something to prevent the foxes jumping over the fence panel we have put up. Spikes have done the job!! Great to be able to buy small amount. Wish 2nd class standard Royal Mail delivery had been an option rather than next day courier.

We had a lot of problems with intruders jumping over the wall as a shortcut and lifting what ever they see, so with Paul’s advice we fitted a trellis then the spikes on top plus additional were fitted along the wall by the council who again following the advice given as I forwarded the email from yourselves. ‘Touch-wood,’ we haven’t had any trouble since but it would be fair to say, you’d have a job to climb and hold to leap over! I am so grateful for the time taken by Paul who has made a huge difference to us now enjoying our back garden in peace.

Product was exactly as i expected it to be. I glued the strips (using Pinkgrip) to the top of a 2.4 metre high wall. They look a lot better than broken glass or razor wire. I am confident that they will be a decent deterrent.

Product delivered (and fitted) within 24 hours or ordering and have not seen any "evidence" of the visiting cats since. Easy to fit, it says screws but I used nails, with a punch to get between the spikes, and it worked fine.
