These mirrors are designed to maintain a clear surface even in adverse weather conditions - and the Great News is that they require NO ELECTRICAL CONNECTION. 

Condensation and dew form when the air temperature changes rapidly (especially at dawn). Small droplets of water form on the mirror, quickly rendering it inoperable, as could rain.

The mirror will provide clear images in conditions where temperatures reach -20°C and functions using the principal of day-time latent heat storage which is then used to keep them frost and mist free.

 Uses

Ideal as traffic safety mirrors - In some locations such as a road "T" Junction, you may need to use two mirrors (see mirror accessories for details of mounting posts and the optional 2 mirror mounting bracket)

 Installation 

These mirrors are supplied with a Universal Fixing pack, which can be used to fix them to a wall or post, and when correctly installed, have been tested to withstand winds of up to 183km/h

Note - if mirrors are to be post mounted, only steel posts are to be used (round posts 76-90mm diam - rectangular posts 60 x 80mm or 80 x 80mm)

The mirror is equipped with a system which requires exposure to the sun, its operation will not be optimal if it is installed against a wall or if it is constantly in a shaded area.

The fully adjustable pan and tilt mechanism allows accurate positioning of the mirror to ensure the best viewing angle
