Armour ring security enclosures are simple, conical collars which are hammered into place over hexagonal nuts or bolt heads, making them tamper resistant. They are fitted to existing, standard fastenings to render them secure and safe by covering sharp edges.
The A2 Stainless Steel Armour Ring Enclosure is suitable for internal or outdoor applications. No special tooling is required to install Armour ring enclosures making them a highly cost-effective method for securing existing fastenings.
When applying an Armour Ring to a nut with a protruding head however, use of the installation tool (and optional handle) is recommended and will simplify and speed up installation considerably.
