Armour Encased Shutter Locks

These rugged padlocks feature a solid brass body protected by a robust armour steel casing and with come with an attractive plated finish.

These versatile units feature a heavy duty rotating shackle with sacrificial anti pull head and a hardened steel anti drill guard to protect the lock cylinder.

The armoured body, large throat and protected key entry, make these locks ideal for a wide range of applications including use with:

  - drop down shutters and steel roller blinds

  - security chains and cables

  - parking posts

  - wall & ground anchors, etc.

The wide throat means that these locks will typically accommodate up to two 13mm section chain links

PLEASE NOTE: on some shutterlocks, the "Shackle Pull Head" and "Key Entry Point" are on the same end of the lock, on others they are on opposite ends.

In many cases this will make no difference, but if you intend to use the lock in a location with restricted access, please make sure that you choose a model suitable for the location in which you intend to use it (if in doubt, the safest option would be to choose a model with the shackle pull head and key entry on the same end).
