The popular high quality Beefy Bridge Ground Anchor is Sold Secure Gold rated and UK Police approved under the Secured by Design scheme.
Quick and easy to install, this high quality ground anchor provides a safe, secure anchor point for use with your high security chain. It accommodates up to 19mm chains and is ideal for protecting your motorcycle, ATV and other cherished and valuable items against theft.
Supplied as standard with a high quality general purpose bolt down fixing kit, the unit is ideal for fixing the anchor into concrete floors or to sound brick walls, etc.
As an alternative, the unit can be supplied with a resin fixing pack for use in high quality concrete floors, or where use of expansion bolts could possibly cause damage to the structure to which the anchor is to be fixed.
The robust 8mm thick hardened steel bridge construction, provides rugged protection against freezing, cutting and grinding attacks, whilst weather protection is achieved by two-stage corrosion protection with a zinc phosphate pre-treatment and tough powder coating finish.
The large shackle aperture will accommodate one 13, 16 or 19mm chain, or two smaller 11mm chains.
Made in Britain, these high-quality Ground Anchors are available from stock and are designed to offer years of protection and peace of mind.
Dimensions, & Technical Details
- Bridge: 70mm x 70mm wide, 8mm thick steel bridge welded to a 10mm thick base plate
- Max Vertical Clearance Under Bridge: 50mm (approximately, from top of cover plate to inside of inner bridge)
- Max Horizontal Clearance Within Bridge: 70mm
- Overall Height to top of Bridge (highest point) = 68mm
- Fixings: Quantity 4, grade 10.9 high tensile M10 socket countersunk bolts, zinc plated and supplied with hammer-in ball bearings to defeat unscrewing and drilling attacks.
- Fixing Hole Centres: At the corners of a square measuring 100mm x 100mm
- Finish: Zinc phosphate followed by powder coating: Black.
Note; bolt down ground anchors are not suitable for fixing into paving slabs or block paving (a concrete in type anchor could offer a practical alternative for these surfaces).

Brilliant! Ordered this at 13:20 on Friday and it was in my hands 24 hours and 20 minutes later, very impressive. Also purchased an 800 X 16mm chain and a RoundLock, the weight of this lot was 2kg heavier than the bike I am securing!! I’m fairly certain that this set up could be used to protect your space shuttle or oil rig from the thieving little gits. One thing to note is that the kit comes with the correct drill bit, good job I checked before a trip to B&Q to buy one, just make sure your drill can take such a big bit though. Great advice from Chris and I am very happy to recommend this company and their products.
