With the theft of saddles and tack room equipment by audacious thieves rising alarmingly, a practical, affordable and effective anti-theft solution was required – the Datatag solution fits the bill perfectly.

The system includes a mixture of visual warnings and hidden security marking components that will in most cases leave thieves looking elsewhere for easier targets as the high risk of being caught with a DataTagged item is a powerful deterrent to even the profesional thief.

In addition to the products supplied in the single saddle marking pack, this pack contains Datatag Datadots, which come in a bottle of around 1,000 tiny dots (les than 1mm acros) bearing a unique identification code and immersed in a DNA unique lacquer adhesive.

The datadots are simply painted on to items to be protected, with the brush attached to the inside of the bottle lid – quick and easy to do, ...and a nightmare for thieves!

Datatag also has a system available for security marking Horseboxes and Trailers.

Note; some manufacturers already offer Datatag as standard, i.e.; Ifor Williams, Fautras, Rice, Wesex and Pegasus ...while others such as Indespension and Brian James offer it as an optional extra.
