Our Door Security Bar or Shed Locking Bar provides a simple but highly effective way to improve protection for vulnerable doors on your sheds or out-buildings.

Its quick and easy to fit, and simple and convenient to use.

The Bar fits across the door and door frame, locking in position to stop the door being opened. According to insurers, the average value of the contents of a shed is over £1,000, a Shed Locking Bar should be high on the priority list of all home owners with sheds or outbuildings.

Where Can You Use a Door Security Bar?

Manufactured from solid steel, this 10mm thick door bar is designed to deliver maximum protection against attack and is suitable for use with doors up to 1650mm wide.

The clever hook end design delivers maximum flexibility and allows the bar to be inserted from either end, and can normally even be used where lateral space is limited such as where one end of the door is close to an adjoining wall.

The bar and brackets are galvanised to offer protection against the weather for up to 25 years.

Bars are available from stock in 5 popular sizes, or can be manufactured to any size to special order, each standard bar measures 40mm wide.

This 1800mm bar is suitable for use with doors up to 1650mm wide and is supplied with 2x 40mm wide steel brackets and through bolt (Coach Bolts) fixing pack, the bolts supplied are 100mm long.

Other stock sizes include;

- 950mm bar for doors up to 800mm wide

- 1200mm bar for doors up to 1050mm wide

- 1500mm bar for doors up to 1350mm wide

- 1800mm bar for doors up to 1650mm wide

- 2000mm bar for doors up to 1850mm wide

- 2500mm bar for doors up to 2350mm wide

Note, you may want to consider using extra support brackets for Shed Bars over 1500mm length, but please check that you have adequate lateral space to install or remove the bar in operational use if extra brackets are fitted.
