Available in either polished chrome or polished brass finish to match existing door furniture, these door security chains have been extensively tested and demonstrably exceed the requirements of TS003:2012: The standard which specifies requirements and test methods for all forms of door opening restrictor.

To resist a heavy door attack, the design features of these chains include a shorter chain, reinforced metal work, enhanced welding and stronger chain fixings.

The chain is often the weakest component in this type of product, but the chunky, extra thick links (4.2mm diameter) are the toughest we know of on any door chain and each individual link is welded for maximum strength. The shorter chain is an important security enhancement as it eliminates the risk that an intruder might be able to reach through the narrow opening and release the security chain.
