This alternative PJB Garage Defender Hardened Steel Base Plate should be used where the area immediately outside of the garage door is tarmac, block pavers or poor quality concrete
To install this concrete-in product, simply excavate a 250mm (10 inch) deep hole and fill with a good 3-2-1 concrete mix.
...a 3-2-1 mix means 3 Parts aggregate (stones) - 2 Parts Sand - 1 Part Portland Cement
If however you only need a small quantity of concrete (i.e. you just need enough to install one of these base plates), you may be able to buy a Ready-mix concrete pack - your local builders merchants should be able to advise you about a suitable pack.
This product is available as a "no-cost swap" item for the Garage Defender Standard Base Plate at time of ordering the Garage Defender product (prod - TM GARDEF)
