The tactile rubber grip handle combined with the light weight of the unit, is designed to minimise operator fatigue when using the unit for extended periods, while the rugged construction offers powerful durability to meet Military Specification Standards for Drop Test.

Rechargeable 2.5 Ahr Battery

The rechargeable internal Lithium Ion battery eliminates the environmental damage arising from the disposal of standard single use batteries.

The USB-C charging point in the base of the handle allows charging of the internal battery via the purpose designed charging cradle, or direct from a suitable plug-top style USB charger. A fully charged internal battery offers up to 125 hours operational use, while fully recharging it will take up to 5 hours.

Auto Adjustment

No fiddly ongoing adjustments required with this unit, as once you have selected the sensitivity level required with the Sensitivity Switch the unit is fully automatic.

For operational convenience and practicality, conveniently located switches on the unit offer temporary override facilities to eliminate interference from other units, or to temporarily reduce the units sensitivity when scanning at floor level where rebar construction could be encountered.
