Mailpro - Internal Use Mailguard Softbox mail collector / protector - with ALF fire extinguisher

This product offers all of the advantages of the standard HomeGUARD Softbox, but also features an internal fire extinguisher to protect against arson attack through the letterbox in your street door.

The unit is designed to fit over the letterslot on the inside of your street door to collect all mail and other items inserted through your letterbox. The universal fixing plate means that one size fits all and installation is a quick and easy task whether you are fitting to a wooden or plastic door. As the unit only protrudes 40mm from the door, it offers the ideal solution for use where space is restricted (i.e. where your door opens back against an internal wall).
 
The robust collection bag is manufactured from a special liquidproof and fire retardant material that is also foodsafe (so it won`t pose a threat to any pets or children). And for added security, a clever internal locking plate (no keys required) will completely block your letterbox to prevent anything from being posted into the unit during any time that you choose to activate it (i.e. November 5th!)
 
The unit has been subjected to numerous controlled tests

• Burning rags and paper (with and without petrol accellerant) posted into the bag via the letterbox were extinguished virtually immediately being starved of oxygen before the fire could take hold
• Fluid retention was tested by leaving 4 litres of water in the bag overnight with no sign of leakage.
• No damage was sustained when lit fireworks (Rocket & Roman Candle) were inserted through the letterbox.

 
Mail is retrieved via a double zipped opening in the bag (if required the zip tags can be locked together with a small padlock to prevent unauthorised access to the content of the bag)
