Keymanager - Mechanical Key Control System
Keys to be controlled are secured to a key "Retention Peg" with a security seal, and locked into the Keymanager plugboard
To release a key, a user must insert an "Access Peg", which remains locked into the board until the removed keys are returned,
...making it instantly and easily possible to identify who has any missing keys
keys are attached to the "Retention Peg" with a `write on` anti tamper security seal
Keymanager - User ID Log
Keymanager "Access Pegs" are colour coded and numbered.
Typically within an organisation, the colours are used to represent different parts of the business (i.e. job function or activity, building or physical area, type of vehicle, etc.)
Regular key users will be issued with Access Pegs that they will keep. They Access Pegs are logged (colour and number) as issued, on a chart such as the example shown to the right, so that the user can be instantly identified by their Access Peg, when keys have been removed from the board.
