Lockout 40mm sheathed (colour coded) brass padlock

Colour coded padlocks for use with electrical Safety Lockouts
 
These are brass padlocks and are available with a plain brass finish or with a coloured plastic sheathing covering the body section (5 different colour sheathings available)
 
Each Safety Lockout features 6 individual holes for padlocks, to accommodate electrical maintenance gangs of up to six members.
 
Once the power has been switched off and the switch cabinet sealed with the Lockout, each member of the gang will be issued with a uniquely keyed and identifiable padlock (i.e. coloured sheathing) which they will lock into the Lockout. As all padlocks have to be removed from the lockout before the cabinet can be reopened and each padlock can only be opened by the gang member who locked it in the Lockout, there is no risk of the power being switched while any member of the gang is still working on the power circuit.
