M6 Atlas Flange Head Bolts

Self Tapping Atlas Flange Head Bolts are only available in the 6mm (M6) size, but readily available in a choice of lengths.

As the smaller hex head measures just 10mm across the flats, the integral flange has been added just below the drive head, which eliminates the need for a separate washer for most applications.

As with the larger 8mm, 10mm and 12mm Atlas Bolts, these self tapping, high tensile, boron steel bolts are designed for use with a wide range of materials.

Ideal for quick and easy installation into concrete, these versatile concrete screws are also ideal for use with brick, concrete block, stone, marble and slate as well as with wood, making them an installers favourite.

Like their larger cousins, the lead-in thread of these self tapping bolts features a series of notches creating a serrated edge, which combines a cutting and sawing action as the bolt is installed.

This means that the bolt taps smoothly, quickly and easily into whatever it is being screwed into. And because Atlas Self Tapping Bolts and Self Tapping Screws generate low expansion forces as they are installed, they are suitable for use closer to the edge of whatever they are tapping into than other types of fixing, such as expansion bolts. 

For installation, our M6 Self Tapping Atlas Bolts require a 6mm pilot hole and 8mm clearance hole in the fixture being secured.

Ideal for fixing timber battens, window/door frames, trunking, protective (anti climb) covers for downpipes, wall plates and signs, these self tapping screws / bolts are in fact great for use anywhere a fixing to concrete or masonry is required.
