What is a Hasp?

A hasp is a hinged clasp device that’s typically used to securely fasten doors, lids, hatches, lockers and more. A slotted hasp strap or band fits over a matching metal staple and this is secured in place using a padlock or a pin. High quality hasps feature hardened steel component parts.

What is CEN Rating?

A CEN rating or CEN grade is a Central European Norm which is an independent testing standard for padlocks. For any padlock to achieve a specific CEN grade or rating it must have undergone intensive verification testing. CEN grade 6 is the highest rating.
