High Security Padlock

The close shackle padlock features a robust 16mm uncroppable hardened boron steel alloy shackle.

A thermo plastic outer sleeve is designed to help prevent the padlock from scratching your bike during use, and a rubber dust cover to protect the lock cylinder against dust or water ingress.

The lock is supplied with 2 keys for each cylinder (4 keys in total). Both cylinders must be unlocked to open the padlock and once both are unlocked the shackle can be fully removed until you are ready to relock the padlock. 

High Security Chain

The high security Squire TC22 motorbike chain is 1.5 metres in length with the wire diameter of each link being 22mm. It has a rugged protective sleeve to guard against scratching your bike when used, and weighs a mighty 17.28kg.

This is a bulky and heavy chain which makes it difficult to handle, but makes it a great choice as a security chain.

When tested by Bennetts / Bike Social, they could not hand crop this chain, even with their massive 42 inch bolt croppers, and it proved hard to cut, even with a mains powered angle grinder, so any thief will need a lot of time and will make a lot of noise while trying to defeat it.

When choosing a ground anchor to use with the 22mm chain, be aware that not many Ground Anchors will have a big enough aperture for a chain of this size to pass through, so please check carefully before buying one.
