What Is a Noose Chain?

A “noose chain” features an oversized "noose ring" at one end, enabling the other end of the chain to be threaded through to create a noose. When using a standard security chain it is normal to loop the entire chain around both the item being secured and a secure anchor point. The clever noose chain design reduces the amount of chain needed for robust security as there is no need to loop around both the anchor point and the secure item. The noose can be created around the anchor point, such as a ground anchor or lamp post, while the other end is locked to whatever is being secured.
