ATVs (All Terrain Vehicles) are single seat vehicles, including what we commonly call Quad Bikes, which are used extensively for recreation, but are also widely used as work vehicles by farmers and others needing to traverse rough terrain.

UTVs (Utility Task Vehicles) are larger and heavier than ATVs, and accommodate two to four riders sat side by side in pairs. They are more powerful than ATVs, making them ideal as a heavy-duty work vehicle for use on challenging terrain, where they are able to accommodate heavier loads and offer higher towing/pulling capacity. The design of the UTV gives rise to the other names it is sometimes called, including; SxS, or Side by Side vehicles. 

What is Quad Shield?

Quad Shield is a cleverly designed wheel enclosure, which locks around a single wheel to prohibit the mobility of the vehicle while the shield is locked in place. In effect it operates in principle as a static, super secure wheel clamp.

How to use your Quad Shield

Before first use, the Quad Shield should be bolted down to a sound concrete ground base, so that it is ready for use.

To use it, simply drive your ATV or UTV into the Quad Shield, pull the closer lever, then press the 2 push locks home to secure your ATV / UTV in place - Job done!

To release your vehicle when needed, simply reverse the locking in process, and reverse your vehicle out of the shield.
