These quarter dome mirrors, manufactured from PMMA (a form of robust plexiglass material) are extremely tough, but not unbreakable.

Uses

When installed at the corner of two corridors meeting at right angles, these strategically positioned mirrors allow people travelling along either corridor toward the corner to see around the corner into the other leg of the corridor, helping to avoid people bumping into each other at the corner, or even avoiding any nasty surprises such as an undesireable lurking around the corner!
Installation
Quarter Dome mirrors are typically fixed directly to ceilings or walls, by screwing through the pre-drilled fixing holes in the flange of the mirror
