This convenient clipboard mounted format makes the unit ideal for gatehouse staff at busy site entrances, vehicle fleet management staff who may want to randomly select vehicles for special safety or roadworthiness checks, etc.

It is also ideal for use by other staff who may need to use the unit at a variety of locations or departments within an organisation.

Designed to hold A4 size documents next to the selector unit, the clipboard also features a built in pen holder, so everything is instantly at your fingertips when you need it.

The Random Search Selector provides a simple, reliable and guaranteed “Unbiased” way to select persons, vehicles, etc. (from a group) to be searched or inspected, or for any other special treatment.

Powered by and the Random Search Selector in Operation

This battery powered unit is powered by 3 x AA size batteries (off the shelf high power batteries such as the duracell type will typically offer up to 50,000 button activations which for most users means over 12 months operation from a fresh set).

Designed originally for use with vehicle or driver selection for search or inspection activity, these versatile units have also been adopted by companies and organisations worldwide for a wide range of other applications.

The search selection rate can be set quickly and easily by the user. The selection rate can be set from 0% - 100% in 5% increments and the desired search level is set using the internal dipswitches.

This attractive new ruggedized design unit is a straight replacement for and delivers the same reliable performance as its predecessor.
