This bundle includes the High Security Pragmasis RL21 RoundLock which has achieved "SOLD SECURE MOTORCYCLE GOLD" accreditation plus the RL21A socket that will be needed to use the lock with our Protector 19mm Security Chain.
The standard RL21 lock is ideal for use with the 13mm or 16mm Protector Chains, but the standard socket section just fouls the 19mm chain link, which is why the specially designed RL21A socket with its bevelled top edge is needed when you want to use the lock with the 19mm chain.
The Pin Element of the RL21 RoundLock body is 21mm in diameter, so the lock doubles as a very compact, convenient disc lock, which at just 0.53kg is practical and easy to carry.
This RL21 Bundled pack allows you to use the lock with the 13mm, 16mm or 19mm High Security Protector Chains, but if you already have the standard lock, and you need to use it with the 19mm chain, you can as an alternative, just purchase the special RL21A socket to use with your existing lock.
Resistance to attack
When tested in use with a 19mm Protector Security Chain by Bennetts - the Bike Insurance Specialists in Oct 2017, this was the result;
...the RoundLock is an excellent piece of kit, fitting snugly against the edges of the chain`s links, making it very difficult to attack.
When attacked with a sledgehammer, the lock merely deformed (the shape of the lock itself makes it very difficult to hit squarely).
It`s inaccessible with bolt croppers, and is so thick that an angle grinder attack causes little damage – in fact the chain is the easier option for a crook to attack ...and that is also a very tough cookie to crack!

Great security but beaware that if using as a disc brake lock when out away from your garage that it doesn’t fit all discs. Still extremely pleased with it and although it’s pricey it is cheaper than your insurance excess

Quality lock with great reviews

My husband and I had our BMW motorcycles stolen from our locked garage overnight so we were looking for some added security before we replaced them. Insight security were great to deal with and very knowledgeable about security products. After speaking to them we ordered Torc Maxi bolt down ground anchors, 19mm 1.5m chains and Roundlocks. They arrived less than 24 hrs after the order was placed and wow are they serious, solid bits of kit. The Roundlocks are small but it is easy to see how they are difficult to attack with no room between chain and lock for bolt croppers. They were pretty inexpensive too compared to the value of what we are trying to protect. I hope they are never put to the test but I feel that the bikes are a lot better protected now.
