The standard Roller Barrier Brackets range at a glance:
(for further details and individual specification sheets please see relevant sections below)
Our range of Roller Barrier stock brackets are suitable for most standard installations, however where our standard brackets will not suit your particular site or application, we are happy to manufacture bespoke brackets to special order.
In addition to the single row brackets shown above, most are also available as double row brackets and our Trigard triple row bracket which supports three rows of Roller Barrier is also available. Double and triple row brackets are often also available from stock, but please call for details and availability.
All stock Roller Barrier Brackets are manufactured from 6mm steel plate, and after punching, cutting and folding, are galvanised to provide a robust weatherproof finish.
All brackets feature 10mm holes or slots, which are ideal for use with 8mm fixings such as our Multi Purpose Atlas Bolts & Screws.
The Universal Mounting Bracket
The Universal Fixing bracket is a popular choice for most applications as it can be "top" or "face" fixed making it the ideal choice for use on brick or masonry walls, as well as box section gates or fence tops, among other applications.
The Extended Universal Mounting Bracket
The Extended Universal Bracket is similar to the standard Universal Bracket, but is designed to position the Roller Cup further away from the fixing plate, which in many situations will allow installation to protect against roof access, even where rain guttering is installed.
The example below shows a Roller Barrier run positioned above a building entrance, supported by Extended Universal mounting brackets.
The Fence Top Mounting Bracket
The Fence Top Bracket is great for mounting a Roller Barrier run to the top of walls, or to wooden or metal gates and fences.
These brackets can also be used effectively to prevent access to flat roof areas, if they can be fixed to robust fascia boards at the edge of the roof, and where no rain guttering would inhibit their use. Note, the Fascia Bracket is a longer version of the Fence Top Bracket which may overcome the rain guttering obstruction.
The Facia Mounting Bracket
The Fascia Bracket is an extended length version of the Fence Top Bracket, which as shown below, offers a way of securing a Roller Barrier run to the fascia of a building, even where rain guttering or wide soffits are installed.
The Cranked Mounting Bracket
The Cranked bracket can be fixed to perimeter walls, gates, fences or building fascias. Three fixing slots in the fixing leg of the bracket provide a robust fixing, whether fixing to brick or masonry, timber or steel mesh fencing.
When installed on a fence, gate or wall, the bracket can be mounted on either side of the structure and be installed cranked inward or outward for maximum effect.
Below, the brackets are shown installed on a steel mesh fence, with the bracket secured through the fence to a bracing plate on the inside of the fence, thus forming a strong mesh fence sandwich. In this example, a double row run of Roller Barrier is shown secured to 358 mesh security panels.
The Straight Twist Mounting Bracket
The Straight Twist bracket is ideal for fixing to the face or rear of fence posts or panels, or for preventingaccess to flat roof areas.
Like the Cranked Bracket above, Straight Twist brackets can be installed on fences, gates or walls, and can be mounted on either side of the structure and be installed cranked inward or outward for maximum effect.
When fitted to a steel mesh fence, they will need to be installed with a two slot bracing plate in a similar way to the way Cranked Brackets would be fixed.
In the example below, they are shown, simply bolted a timber fence.
The Straight Mounting Bracket
The Flat bracket is ideal for use on gate ends or cage sides among other applications.
Shown here installed to prevent air conditioning protective cages being used as climbing frames to access the low roof at a school.
