RotaSpike - Cranked Bracket

The Cranked Bracket is used to support a run of Rotaspike at intervals (of not more than 2 metres), along the length of the barrier.

There is not a specific Cranked "End Bracket", so to securely terminate each end of a straight run of barrier, a single Rotaspike Vane is added to the shaft on the outer side of the last cranked bracket, and the barrier is secured by cross drilling the shaft and installing a Bolt and Shear Nut fixing.

For convenience, an M6 x 60mm Bolt and M6 Shear Nut fixing set is supplied as standard with each Rotaspike Cranked Bracket, to enable its use as an End Bracket.

Warning: Due to the aggressive nature of this product, it is strongly recommended that to avoid accidental contact to passers by, this product is installed at a minimum of 2.4 metres from ground level.

Warning Signage should be clearly and prominently displayed at the installation site to ensure that anyone approaching the barrier is aware of its existence - it is recommended that warning signs should be displayed at a maximum of 5 metre intervals.

Usage

The Cranked bracket is primarily designed for side fixing and is popular for mounting Rotaspike to a wall face or other structure.

When used with a Bracing Plate to form a fence sandwich, these brackets also offer a sound fixing to most types of steel mesh fencing.

These brackets support the weight of the Rotaspike Barrier when  installed at intervals along its length.

Manufacture

Manufactured from steel sheet and galvanised to protect against the weather, the top of the bracket is pointed to form additional anti-climb protection.
