These Tamper Proof Security Torx Button Head Machine Screws or Torx Bolts are manufactured from A2 grade Stainless Steel making them a great choice for indoor applications as well as outdoor projects.
The Torx star shaped recess in the screw head features a central pin which enhances security as its only possible to loosen these screws using the correct form or Security Torx driver. The Torx design allows a higher level of torque to be applied which further enhances security by enabling these fixings to be tightened more firmly.
These screws go by many names including Security Torx, Pin Torx, Pin in Torx and Star Drive screws among others, but whatever you call them, they are a great choice for use with power screwdrivers and high torque applications.
