Pin Torx Barrel Nuts (also known as a Security Torx Barrel Nuts), with countersunk heads, are suitable for a wide range of applications and are also available in a button head version. Sometimes called `Inter-Screws` these barrel nuts are designed to be used with matching Pin Torx (Security Torx) Machine Screws or bolts to achieve secure through-fixings.
Being manufactured from A2 grade Stainless Steel, these versatile fasteners are ideal for indoor or general outdoor use.
Barrel Nuts are generally used as through fixings (which is why they are also known as Inter-Screws), where both ends of the fixing needs to offer a security type head.
They are designed for use with a matching size Security Torx / Pin Torx Machine Screw or Bolt and you will need matching Security Driver Tools to tighten or remove these security fasteners (remember you will need a matching driver tool for each end of the Barrel Nut & Screw during installation).
