Countersunk Security Torx (Pin Torx) Self Drilling Screws are case hardened steel screws with a rugged Delta-Protekt weather resistant finish making them ideal for outdoor applications although they can of course also be used for internal projects where required.
The unique self-drilling screw tip effectively drills an optimally sized hole as the screw is tightened. The Pin Torx system ensures a high level of security thanks to the high torque that can be applied when tightening and the need for specialist tooling to undo these security screws.
Also sometimes referred to as Pin Torx or Pin-in Star Drive screws, the special self drilling tip of these countersunk self drillers, eliminates the need to pre drill holes, which saves you money by speeding up and making your installation easier.
