These Tamper Resistant Torx countersunk self tapping screws are manufactured from Stainless Steel making them ideal for use indoors or outdoors.
Security Torx screw heads feature a pin at the centre of the recess which requires the use of specialist security Torx tooling to install and remove them. This makes them highly tamper resistant and the higher torque capability enables them to be secured more tightly, further enhancing security.
As with most types of self tapping screws, these screws which are also known as Resistorx or Pin Torx screrws can be used as a direct replacement for wood screws where needed.
