Sentinel - Leave-A-Key - Big Box Outdoor Key Safe with Digital Keypad

The robust metal housing with its weatherproof keypad cover, fixes firmly to your house (fixings provided), your keys are deposited and locked securely behind the removable 10 button digital keypad operated face panel.

...and will even accept credit card size access control cards (very few Leave-a-key safes will accommodate a credit card size item!).

To let authorised people into your home, all you have to do is tell them the code you have set - Simple and Convenient!  You can change your secret code as often as you like - simply unlock the unit, flip down the hinged front cover over and select the numbers you want for your new code by setting the number control knobs to active or non active - simple, quick and easy. 

About the security code

As with all mechanical digital keysafes, you can only use an individual number once within the security code you set to open and close the unit, and the code can be entered in any sequence to open the unit, i.e. if you set your code to; 2468  entering those 4 numbers in any sequence will open the unit, so keying in 6842 for instance would also open the unit.

Whilst this may initially appear to compromise the security of the code, as you can set the code to be any length, anyone attempting to open the keysafe without knowing the code will not know whether you have set the code length to 3, 4, 5, or 6 digits, etc., so the security of your code is in fact strong, and of course you can change the code quickly and easily as often as you like.

Although using a 4 digit code is popular, a 5 digit code offers greater security and is probably a good choice, but of course you`re always in charge, so choose a code that works for you.
