Stainless Steel, Countersunk Snake Eye Machine Screws or Pig Nose Machine Screws are a popular favourite with architects and designers thanks to their aesthetic appearance and our ability to deliver bespoke manufactured screws and barrel nuts to any size and specification, within realistic lead-times.
You will see countersunk pig nose machine screws used in various public buildings and spaces where tamper resistance is essential and aesthetic appearance is of high importance.
Although popularly referred to as Snake Eye screws the twin driver holes in the head of these screws has led to them being called a number of other names including Pig Nose Screws, two hole screws and twin hole screws among others, but all of these names refer to the one type of security screw.
When installed, the heads of the Countersunk Machine Screws fit flush with the surface of the substrate into which they are fitted, whilst the two holes recessed into the screw head, which accommodate the matching security driver bit used to install or remove them, give the screws their attractive appearance.
These screws are manufactured from A2 grade stainless steel, making them suitable for most indoor or outdoor applications.
