Snake Eye Screws are also often referred to as Pig Nose Bolts. They are a firm favourite with architects and designers thanks to their aesthetic appearance and our ability to deliver bespoke manufactured screws and barrel nuts to any size and specification, within realistic lead-times.
Special two pin driver bits are required to install and remove these snake eye screws which are typically used in widespread applications where tamper resistance and aesthetic appearance are important. You will see pig nose fastenings used throughout the London Underground and in many public spaces and buildings.
