Stainless Steel Pan Head Self Tapping Snake Eye Screws are also known as Pig Nose Screws, Twin Hole Screws and Two hole Screws among other names. They are a firm favourite with architects and designers thanks to their attractive appearance and the excellent tamper resistance they provide.
An appropriate two pin driver tool is required to install and remove these fastenings. Pan head self tapping snake eye screws provide a medium level of security at very low cost making them ideal for use in public spaces and buildings.
This self tapping tamperproof screw can be used as a straight replacement for woodscrews where the application demands and the fact that these screws are manufactured from A2 grade stainless steel, makes them an ideal choice for indoor or many outdoor installations.
The flat pan head of these anti tamper screws is designed to stand proud of the surface into which they are screwed.
When installed, the pan head of these screws can lead to an attractive appearance, which is why you will often see them used to secure commemorative or decorative plaques and signage among other applications.
