Sold Secure Rating

This rugged disc lock has achieved the coveted Sold Secure Powered Cycle Diamond rating (formerly known as the Motorcycle Diamond rating).

That means that the Squire Defiant Brake Disc Lock has survived the rigorous Sold Secure official target of a 5 minute manual attack test followed by a 90 second attack with an angle grinder. In-house testing by Henry Squire however has shown this motorcycle disc lock to far exceeded the predefined Sold Secure attack test times.

By Design

The 25mm hardened steel disc lock body is protected with a heavy duty armoured coating designed to destroy multiple angle grinder discs during any attack, whist the 12mm hardened Boron Steel shackle robustly counters any attempted removal of the lock by force.

The unit features a bright yellow heavy duty protective cover to offer protection against the weather and corrosion, and the inclusion of a bright yellow reminder cable is a nice touch that should remind any owner to remove the device from the brake disk before driving off!
