The SS65S/2.5 long shackle padlock from the Squire Stronghold range is a 65mm open shackle unit with an extended shackle length delivering a massive shackle clearance of 65mm x 29.5mm

The Squire SS65SLS CEN5 high security padlock has been tested to meet the internationally recognised European CEN 5 security rating which means it delivers a very high level of security

CEN5 Padlock Applications

This CEN5 rated unit is a great choice for a wide range of applications from securing factory gates, to use with a suitable chain to lock up motocycles, ride on mowers, boat trailers, or use it to secure your outboard motor (shackle diameter is 12.7mm), and lots more.

The open shackle offers greater vertical shackle clearance than the standard open Shackle version and will accommodate multiple chain links up to 16mm diameter.

Keying Options (supplementary charges may apply)

To beef up key security for your Squire Stronghold Padlocks, the manufacturers have enhanced the range of keying options available. All locks are fitted as standard with a high security lock cylinder (with conventional sawtooth style key), offering a minimum of 250,000 key differs, however Squire have introduced options for most of their Stronghold range including;

• Dimple Key option
  (the number of key differs increases to 470,000)
  
  
• Restricted Key option – offers added protection against unauthorised key copying
  (the number of key differs increases to 530,000. As protection for you against unauthorised key copying, locksmiths will need you to present the security card supplied with your padlock before they will cut additional keys for you).
  
  
• Protected Key option – offers ultimate protection against unauthorised key copying
  (the number of key differs increases to 530,000. Additional keys can only be cut for you by Squire as the relevant key blanks will not be available to locksmiths. This offers you the highest level of protection against unauthorised key copying.
