Sterling Locks Limited UK was a long established, highly respected manufacturer of top quality locks. In 2013 the company was acquired by Burg-Wachter UK and moved to a new location in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Sterling padlocks are widely regarded for their durability and versatility. 

Brass has been traditionally used in lock manufacture throughout Europe as it is a very strong material with excellent corrosion resistance, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. Both combination and keyed padlocks are available in a range of sizes. What is Double Locking?

Most padlocks will open if the shackle is cut. But a double locking padlock locks both arms of the shackle in place so that even if the shackle is cut it will not open. The shackle would need to be cut again in order to release it from the hasp. This is often enough to put off any would-be thieves.
