Security Screws come in two basic types:
The Perma fix range of security screws are one way screws which, once tightened, cannot be undone. Whereas releasable security screws can be done up and undone, but only with a special matching security screwdriver or driver bit.

Posidrive type Sentinel security screws can be installed with a standard philips type screwdriver.
Releasable security screws can be done up and undone again if required, but only by using a special matching security screwdriver or driver bit.
They are available with a variety of drive head types including:
Other forms of releasable security screws are available and new designs are continuously being developed.
