Vandgard Rotating Anti-climb Guard Central Shaft

The Vandgard central shaft is manufactured from high tensile extruded round tube aluminium - BS1471: 1986 (BS6082).

Shafts are supplied in 2 metre lengths. If required, they can be cut shorter with a hacksaw, or two or more shafts can be joined together with Joining Spigots to extend the operational length.

It is recommended that the shafts are supported at intervals of 2 metres (or less) with appropriate support brackets fixed to the wall, fence, etc. on which they are mounted.

Note: The Vandgard independently rotating anti-climb vanes are threaded onto the central shaft at time of installation. Each pair of vanes is installed so that they interlock, which ensures that each pair of vanes will rotate on the Central Shaft, independently of every other pair on the shaft.
